Village Manager's Office


The Village Manager is appointed by Village Board to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of all Village departments. The Village Manager’s Office serves as the bridge between the Village Board and the operational departments. It ensures that the Village Board has the information and context it needs to make decisions and set priorities, then ensures that the departments have the direction, coordination, and resources need to carry out those decisions.   

The Village Manager's Office also directly manages various Village functions such as: Human Resources, Community Special Events, Freedom of Information Requests, Block Party Permits, Sloan Triangle Sign Applications, Downtown Business Employee Parking, and General Community Communications.

The Village Manager's Office is located on the lower level of Village Hall. The entrance to the Village Manager's Office is on the east side of the building.

Office Hours
Village Hall is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., closing between noon and 1 p.m. for lunch.

Community Needs Survey
Since 2005, the Village has sought input from residents on a variety of issues through its Community Needs Survey. The analysis for each year, found below, includes year-to-year comparisons and points out changing trends.

Lobbying Information
The Village does not employ a lobbyist. The last year a lobbyist was utilized by the Village was 2011.
