The Village of Clarendon Hills entered into a new refuse and recycling agreement with Republic Services, formerly Allied Waste, to provide refuse and recycling services to single-family homes within the Village. The three-year contract takes effect July 1, 2011 and continues through June 30, 2014.

As part of the new recycling contract, residents will receive new recycling carts at no additional charge. The recycling carts will replace the previous recycling bins.

The contract also continues a number of other services that Republic Services provides to the Village and its residents, including: fall leaf collection, Amnesty Day, yard waste collection and refuse and recycling services during Village events.
