Water Main break Blackhawk Heights

Water Main break at 7 Algonquin Road Addresses impacted include 1-9 Indian Dr. and 2-16 Algonquin Road.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible for the safety of our workers.

Repairs are expected to be completed by 4:30 pm. Residents in the area may experience low to no water pressure while repairs take place.

Following repairs residents in the area may experience rust color water. This should clear after running cold water for a few minutes. Please avoid doing laundry until the color has dissipated. There is no danger to the quality of the water.

If you have further concerns please call Village Hall at 630-286-5400 or Public Works at 630-286-4750. If you see what you suspect is a main break after normal business hours please contact 911 to report it.

New water main break at 25 Iroquois. Residents in the area will be experience low to no water during repairs. Expect delays due to weather and the amount of repairs needing to be made. If you have massive flooding in your backyard (Blackhawk Heights Residents) and your neighbors do not, you probably have a water main break. After hours, call 911 to report a water main break.

2nd Water Main break at the corner of Blackhawk and Algonquin. Crews will move to fix this break as soon as they fix the original one on Algonquin. This second repair is anticipated to be repaired between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Patience is appreciated as crews work in this weather.
