DuPage County Rolls Out Text to 911

In an emergency it's always best to call 911 but if you are unable or it is unsafe to talk you now have the option to text 911. Like calling 911 it is illegal to misuse or send fake texts.

Easy to Use -  text your location, your need (police, fire, or medical assistance)

Send clear brief messages - Do not send abbreviations, slang, emojis, photos or videos attachments

Stay Calm - Answer questions and follow instructions from the 911 call taker

The Village is creating its new Downtown Improvement Plan, a roadmap for the Village to direct future growth and development in Downtown Clarendon Hills. Your participation is key in the creation of the Plan.

 Upcoming Open House is scheduled to be held at the Community Presbyterian Church, located at 39 N Prospect 

Date: February 5, 2026

Time: 4:30 to 7:00 PM

The Open House will introduce the Draft Clarendon Hills Downtown Improvement Plan and give the community an opportunity to review proposed improvements and design concepts with the goal of gaining the community’s insight about key topic areas and the proposed future development in Downtown. Participants can drop in, ask questions, and share feedback with the Project Team and Village staff before the Downtown Improvement Plan is finalized. Following the Open House, the Project Team will prepare the Final Downtown Improvement Plan to be presented to the Village Board.
