The Clarendon Hills Fire Department provides Fire Protection services, ambulance services as well as Fire Safety and inspections.  The department aside from the Chief, is entirely part-time, made of professional firefighter/paramedics from other departments and local residents for firefighting duties.


Fire Insurance Classification Rating 
The Village of Clarendon Hills Fire Department has a Fire Insurance Classification Rating of 3. This classification is determined by inspections of the fire department, water department, and dispatch center by the Insurance Services Offices of Illinois. The ISO uses a rating scale of 1 being the best and 10 being the worst.

The Clarendon Hills Fire Department exists to meet needs created by a wide variety of crisis situations that demand a quick, efficient, and professional emergency response.

We strive to provide the highest quality service while maximizing the productivity of our staff and reducing costs whenever possible. We will do as much as we can within the limitations of our resources to protect lives and property and limit the degree of human suffering when called to emergencies.

It is through our prevention, education, and training efforts that we strive to prevent, prepare for, or otherwise limit, the extent of any fire or other emergency.
