Coyote sightings have become more prevalent within the village and surrounding communities. Although you may be shocked to see a coyote running through the village, it is not unusual. Recently, though, the Village has been receiving calls regarding a coyote with an injured leg. We have contacted DuPage Animal Control, Willowbrook Wildlife, and a private wildlife trapper. According to these professionals, the coyote has an injured leg but is acting normally when authorities approach, so there is no need for anyone to intervene at this time.
