[ARCHIVED] Free Yard Waste Pickup

YARD WASTE PICKUP Extended

Residents serviced by Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS) are not required to place stickers on their yard waste bags. Yard Waste pickup has been extended until December 8th for residents who life North of the BNSF tracks and December 9th for those who live South of the BNSF tracks.   This includes leaves, grass and sticks that fit into the bag appropriately. These yard waste items do not need to be separated either. Yes, grass and leaves can be mixed together into the same bag. This is the last yard waste pickup for the year. Holiday tree pickup will be in January. Garland will need to be placed in your regular garbage as LRS does not recycle or pickup garland due to yard waste landfills being closed during winter. Trees are mulched.
